Oversight of the Internet Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) President Goran Marby and National Telecommunications and Information Administration chief Lawrence Strickling testified before a Senate Judiciary subcommittee on Internet governance. They discussed the implications of the Obama administration?s proposal to relinquish oversight of the Internet domain name system to ICANN. Subcommittee Chair Sen.
