This needs to be noted in this commentary. You MUST remember when reading Yech-iz-ki'Yah that the House of Yisrael had already been taken captive by the Assyrian Empire around 127 years earlier, and it was in the 5th year of Yahvyakiyn’s captivity by Nebuchadnezzar II (4388 FCA/592 BCE) when Yechizki’Yah/Ezekiel began receiving YaHVeH’s Word and naba/foretelling; he was taken captive with the House of Yahudah by the Babylonian Empire. The House of Yisrael was taken captive around 4261 FCA/719 BCE.

Another note I must make concerning Jamieson Fausset Brown commentary I quoted. Whenever you see wings being used in the nebuah/prophesying/foretelling of future events in the Kodesh Scripture, it is to signify the transporting of that system and or people to another place on earth. See Daniel 7:4 and Revelation 12:14.

Yechizki'Yah: 17:4: He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffic; he set it in a city of merchants.

Yechizki'Yah: 17:5: He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.

{B’reshiyth/Genesis: 49:22: Yoseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

B’reshiyth: 49:24: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty of Ya'akob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Yisrael :)

I think this should be noted about verse 24. If you look up this verse in E-sword Strong’s Concordance you will see that the word for “God” is not there:

Do you see where I underlined? It says “...mighty God of Jacob...” Normally the number code in Strong’s Concordance is 410 for “El” or 430 for “Elohiym,” if you will notice the number code is missing and the word “God” I highlighted in gray. Evidently the word does not actually appear in the manuscript. So I believe the phrase should be: “the mighty of Ya'akob” instead of “the mighty God of Jacob.” The implication is that it is not YaHVeH who they are relying on for strength, but as the pagan nations around them did, they relied on the god of forces (Daniel 11:38) for their strength. They rely on their fleshy arm (Dabariym/Deuteronomy 17:14 – 16; Yirmi'Yah/Jer. 17:5; Yechizki'Yah/Ezek. 33:26; Hoshea 8:14), their military power, their chariots and horses for their protection and strength. YaHVeH has allowed it; because HE is going to use these very things they rely on to protect them to backfire in their faces. I believe the verse is talking about the mighty (Military Industrial Complex) men of Ya'akob.

B’reshiyth: 49:25: Even by the El of your father, who shall help you; and by the ALMIGHTY, who shall prosper you with prosperity of shamayim above, prosperity of the deep that lies under, prosperity of the breasts, and of the womb:}

Notice verse 25 plainly says “...the El of your father, who shall help you...” Now if we look at the verse in E-sword Strong’s Concordance it reads:

Do you see the number code 410? This is the Strong’s code for “El.” Notice it says “by the El of thy father, who shall help...” This is speaking about Yahvshua Mashiyach, YaHVeH’s right hand rescuing the children of Yisrael after the Great Tribulation is over, which is signaled by the sound of the 7th Trumpet/Shophar.

The Tribe of Yoseph receives the material abundance of the earth. It doesn’t mean all of Yoseph’s tribe/children/future generations have received the necessary ruach/spiritual gifts needed to handle the material abundance of the earth that is given to them. What happens to most people who acquire great wealth? Their heads become puffed up, their egos usually become very self-centered, they become belligerent, obnoxious, rude and eventually tyrannical. They think that obtained all their wealth and abundance by their own genius and strength.

Yes, so the Tribe of Yoseph receives all this wealth, so that wealth is passed on to his children Ephrayim and Menashsheh. See B’reshiyth chapter 48. See article 66 on website:

Yechizkiyah: 17:8: It was planted in a bountiful soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches and that it might bear fruit that it might be an ample/ad-de-reth vine.

The body of Yahvshua also needs to remember that Yoseph was planted in Mitsrayim/Egypt by his brothers selling him into slavery, and by doing so YaHVeH used Egypt a pagan kingdom to sustain the children of Yisrael during times of plenty and famine. Yoseph became 2nd in command under Pharaoh. At that time Egypt was the "...bountiful soil by great waters..."

Yechizkiyah: 17:9: Say you this says the Rabbi YaHViH; shall it prosper? Shall HE not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? It shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.

Yechizkiyah: 17:10: Yes observe, being planted, shall it prosper? Shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind touches it? It shall wither in the furrows where it grew.

The eagle with wings is the symbol of transporting the system of Babylon. The eagle is a bird of prey that devours. I don’t believe it is any small coincidence that the seal of the USA (Menashsheh, one of the shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael) is an eagle. The children of Yisrael continue to want to be like the nations around them (1 Shemuel/Samuel 8), no matter where YaHVeH scatters them.

I don’t believe we can call USA the Babylon spoken of in the Book of Revelation. Yes, the USA system is based on the Babylonian, Greek and Roman system/image of the Beast of Revelation 13:14, but I believe we have to stay in the boundaries of Daniel chapters 2 and 7 in understanding these hidden things. When Yahvshua returns it will be the Beast power of Rome with ten horns of Middle East kings that will be in existence at that time. I believe we have to look at the EU as that final Roman Beast, Babylonian system that will have great power, influence and dominance over the entire world. I believe it to be the Beast power that YaHVeH will use to punish the children of Yisrael for their disobedience for the last time (Yeshayahu 11).

Understand it is the USA (Menashsheh) and (Shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael) the UK (Ephrayim) who were at the time this article was originally written (12/2/6985* 7th day of the week/Shabbat [02/12/05]) resurrecting the attitude/spirit of Babylon, which we know today as Iraq.

Yechizkiyah: 17:11: Moreover the Word of YaHVeH came to me, saying,

Yechizkiyah: 17:12: Say now to the rebellious house, Know you all not what these things mean? Tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Yahvshalam, and has taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

Yechizkiyah: 17:13: And has taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and has taken an oath of him: he has also taken the mighty of the land:

Yechizkiyah: 17:14: That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

From what I understand of this verse, the king of Babylon made an agreement with the king of the house of Yahudah not to lift itself up and stay under Babylon’s authority, so the House of Yudah can continue as a nation/kingdom/government.

Yechizkiyah 17:15: But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Mitsrayim/Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? Shall he escape that does such things? Or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?

Yechizkiyah: 17:16: As I live, said the Rabbi YaHViH, surely in the place where the melek dwells that made him melek, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

Yechizkiyah 17:17: Neither shall Pharaoh/Paro with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:

Yechizkiyah: 17:18: Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, observe, he had given his hand, and has done all these things, he shall not escape.

Yechizkiyah: 17:19: Therefore this says the Rabbi YaHViH; As I live, surely MINE oath that he has despised, and MY covenant that he has broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

Yechizkiyah: 17:20: And I will spread MY net upon him, and he shall be taken in MY snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he has trespassed against ME.

Note the USA and UK (Shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael) as I type this article (2005/6985* FCA) have their military stationed in Iraq (Babylon).

Yechizkiyah 17:21: And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and all of you shall know that I YaHVeH have spoken it.

Yechizkiyah: 17:22: Thus said Rabbi YaHViH; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon a high mountain and eminent:

This planting of a “tender one” on a “high mountain and eminent” is speaking about royalty. Remember the assignment that YaHVeH gave Yirmi’Yah:

{Yirmi’Yah/Jeremiah: 1:9: Then YaHVeH put forth HIS Hand, and touched my mouth. And YaHVeH said to me, Observe, I have put MY words in your mouth.

Yirmi'Yah: 1:10: See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.}

Yechizki’Yah: 17:23: In the mountain of the height of Yisrael will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be an ample cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.

So we can see now that YaHVeH through Yirmi’Yah was going to move the royal seed to another location. The question is where was and is that location that the royal seed of Yisrael would be planted? It was planted in Britain; and before the USA was a great and powerful nation, Great Britain was even greater. It was through Great Britain that the USA became even a nation, because the USA was one of her colonies.Remember would dwell in the "shadow of the branches" of Babylon. Not only is the lion symbol for the tribe of Yahudah (B’reshiyth/Gen. 49:9); it is the symbol for Babylon (Daniel 7:4). It is also the royal seal for Great Britain. The same goes for the USA. Remember they would be dwelling in the “shadow of the branches” of Babylon. Not only is the eagle the symbol for Assyria, it is the seal of the USA government and the symbol for the tribes of Yisrael that camped in the west. Remember the Beast in Rev. 4:7 had four faces; one like a lion, eagle, ox and man. These four symbols represent the tribes of Yisrael and in what direction they camped. Here is an illustration:

Do you see? No matter where YaHVeH scatters the children of Yisrael they continue to promote the influence of Babylon with them. They truly are “sniff-hearted” people (Yechizkiyah/Ezek. 2:4).

I believe verse 22 and 23 is speaking about a future nation (which is today USA and UK Rev. 12:14) that will allow the children of Yisrael to be protected for a period of time. Remember the Word of YaHVeH says, “...in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.” A “shadow” is made by an object that stands in front of a light source, and the outline of the object is projected somewhere...

When I think of a shadow I think of concealment, a place to hide from something or someone or a person to lurk in. A shadow also gives you protection from the heat of the day. It reminds me of Psalm 83:3:

{Psalms: 83:3: They have taken crafty counsel against YOUR people, and consulted against YOUR hidden ones.}

A shadow is projected by an image, and a nation can copy that image and only be a shadow of that image, not as splendid and defined as the true image, but conforms to it close enough to resemble the religious system of Babylon, which the disobedient children of Yisrael have accepted and submitted to the teaching of that system. Remember Revelation 13:11-14 another beast came up with two horns like a lamb, which was the Roman Catholic Church in the west and later the Greek Orthodox Church in the east (Rev. 13:11). All the other Protestant religions take their queues from these two horns, hence this is why she is called the "Mother of Harlots..." the Protestants/Harlots are the off spring of their Mother. Also remember the children of Yisrael are symbolized as clay (Yesha'Yah 64:8); remember the miry clay that is mixed in the feet and toes of the statue of Daniel chapter 2. That is the children of Yisrael and they are held captive until the Stone is cut out of the mountain without hands comes and smashes the feet of the statue so the entire structure crumbles to the ground and frees them.

I want to make it abundantly clear concerning the clay. Scripture interprets Scripture. In the book of Yeshayah the nabiy Yeshayahu/Isaiah clearly defines, who the clay symbolizes:

This also types into Revelation chapter 18:4. Unfortunately there will be those of the children of Yisrael, who do not repent and “come out of her”.

Yechizki'Yah: 17:24: And all the trees of the field shall know that I YaHVeH have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I YaHVeH have spoken and have done it.

The Babylon that Revelation is speaking about is the system that will defeat the nations of Yisrael (UK and USA are shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael and House of Yudah is the modern day "Jewish" state) and hold them captive until Mashiyach returns in the clouds.

YaHVeH will use the very system the children of Yisrael want to emulate as HE did anciently; HE will use again in the end/"last days" to punish them. That's why YaHVeH had Yirmi'Yah write this down:

{Yirmi'Yah: 13:21 What will you say when HE shall punish you? for you have taught them to be captains, and as chief over you: shall not sorrows take you, as a woman in travail?}

Remember the “Great Tribulation”/“Ya’akob’s Trouble” last 1,260 days or 42 chodeshiym (months) or 3.5 years or time and times and half a time (Dan. 7:25; Rev. 11:2-3). After this time is over the House of Yisrael and the House of Yahudah will be “…saved out of it.”

UK/Ephrayim and USA/Menashsheh = Shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael (ten tribes). The physical flesh blood remnant that remains from this House will be lead back to the Promised Land (Yeshayah/Isaiah 11; Yirmiyah 16:16) by the Body of Yahvshua after the “Great Tribulation”/“Ya’akob’s Trouble” is over. The majority of people in the House of Yisrael have been brought up on Christian doctrine, which is a counterfeit of the truth. It is based on Baal/Sun god religion [1 Melekiym/Kings 18], which has changed Yahvshua’s name (Yeshayah 52:5; Yirmiyah 7:10; Rev. 17:3) and replaced it with a Greco, Roman Babylonian mystery religion name (Mark 7:6-9).

The modern day “Jewish” state also referred to as “Israel" today = House of Yudah (two tribes; also notice YaHVeH's name has been removed from their tribe name; the reason why is, they don't call on HIS name YaHVeH through the name of Yahvshua the Mashiyach see Yahn/John:14:13-14). The physical flesh blood remnant that remains from this house will be lead back to the Promised Land (Yeshayah 11; Yirmiyah 16:16) by the Body of Yahvshua/Yahvsha after the “Great Tribulation”/“Ya’akob’s Trouble” is over.

The majority of people in the House of Yudah have been brought up on traditional Judaism teaching, mixed with Talmud, Kabbalah man made traditions (Mark 7:6-9), which also replaces and denies YaHVeH’s name and HIS Mashiyach Yahvshua.

The Body of Yahvshua = Bloodline members from the House of Yisrael and Yahudah and Gentile people (no longer considered Gentile because they have come out of their pagan traditions). Those in the Body of Yahvshua will be raised from the dead if they had died before Yahvshua’s 2nd coming, and those that are alive at his coming will be changed from corruptible to incorruptible. This takes place after the “Great Tribulation”/ “Ya’akob’s Trouble” is over, Shamayim signs are seen, then the 7th Shophar/Trumpet/Last Trump sounds. This is why the Body of Yahvshua enters into Yahvshua the Mashiyach's rest/Sabbath every year on Zikron Teruah/Yom Teruah/Day of Trumpets. This time represents and rehearses the blowing of the 7th Shophar/Trumpet/Last Trump [1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thes. 4:13-18].

This needs to be noted concerning the two different spellings used when referring to the House of Yahudah and House of Yudah. When you see the House of Yahudah written, I am referring to the Body of Yahvshua, because it was from the House of Yahudah that the Mashiyach was literally born from, and the called out congregation/ekklesia was established from (B’reshiyth/Gen. 49:8 – 12; Yeshayah 5:7; Rev. 5:7).

When you see House of Yudah I am referring to, yes, two types of bloodline of the tribe Yahudah, yet they don’t believe in the already first coming of Yahvshua. The first type is the religious Yudiy, who have the same spirit that our Rabbi confronted with His own brethren when He walked the earth in the flesh; read Yahn/Yohn 8:37 – 59.

The second type of Yudiy is the unbelieving secular Yudiy, who have nothing to do with the Covenant that was made with children of Yisrael. The nabiy/prophet Daniel and the Yudiy Historian Yosephus mentions these Yudiy, as well as did Yahvshua the Mashiyach in the Book of Revelation. See Daniel 11:30, 32; Yosephus Book 12 chapter 6:2; Revelation 2:9. Now, some say these Yudiy in Revelation are the Europeans/Ashkenazi, who converted to Judaism, I think these Yudiy are literal Yudiy similar to those Yahvshua was referring to in Yahn 8. The difference is these Yudiy literally worship Satan. By their fruits you will know them, so refer to Klaus Schwab and George Soros.
