Yirmi'Yah/Jeremiah 23:1: Woe to the pastors/shepherds/ra`ah that destroy and scatter the sheep of MY pasture; said YaHVeH!

Who do you think verse one of Yirmi'Yah 23 is talking about since Yahvshua has now come in the flesh, has been hung on the stake, raised from the dead and is now at YaHVeH’s right hand? It’s speaking about Christianity/“House of Yisrael”/MY hidden ones (Ps. 83:3; Mat. 24:5; Rev. 13:11) and unbelieving Judaism/“MY people” (Ps. 83:3; Acts 7; Romans 11).

Notice the verse says “...destroy and scatter the sheep of MY pasture; said YaHVeH! What did Yahvshua say in Yahvchanan/Yahn 10:16?

How have the Christian pastors scattered YaHVeH's sheep; by teaching them to observe pagan customs in place of YaHVeH's Sabbaths.

{Yahvchanan/Yahn: 10:11: I am the worthy shepherd: the worthy shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Yahn: 10:12: But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, see the wolf coming, and leaved the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.

Yahn: 10:13: The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep.

Yahn: 10:14: I am the worthy shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine.

Yahn: 10:15: As the FATHER knows Me, even so know I the FATHER: and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Yirmi'Yah: 22:2: Therefore this says YaHVeH Elohiym of Yisrael against the shepherds that feed MY people; You all have scattered MY flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: observe, I will visit on you the evil of your doings, said YaHVeH.

How do the shepherds know when to visit YaHVeH`s flock; by the set seasons that the ALMIGHTY has appointed. Those appointed times can be found listed in V`yakra/Leviticus 23.

Yirmi’Yah: 23:3: And I will gather the remnant of MY flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

Understand verse 3 is speaking about the physical flesh and blood remnant of the children of Yisrael that will be left alive after the “Great Tribulation” is over. This remnant is NOT talking about the body of Yahvshua.

Yirmi'Yah 23:4: And I will set up shepherds over them, which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, said YaHVeH.

Verse 4 is speaking about the body of Yahvshua, when YaHVeH says “...I will set up shepherds over them...” Remember the body of Yahvshua will NOT be flesh and blood, because flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the Kingdom of YaHVeH. Refer to 1 Corinthians 15:50 (Read all of 1 Cor. 15) and Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed chapters 1 and 5:

{1 Corinthians: 15:50: Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of YaHVeH; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

Revelation: 1:6: And has made us kings/melekiym and priests/koheniym to Elohiym and His FATHER; to HIM be respect and dominion forever and ever, Amein.

Rev: 5:10: And have made us to our Elohiym melekiym and koheniym: and we shall reign on the earth.}

Yirmi'Yah: 23:5:  Observe, the days come, says YaHVeH, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a Melek shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and righteous-ruling in the earth.

Verse 5 is speaking about Yahvshua the Mashiyach. He will return and reign as Melek of melekiym and Rab of Rabbiym (Yahn 18:37; Rev. 17:14; 19:16).

Yirmi'Yah 23:6:  In His days Yahudah shall be saved, and Yisrael shall dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, YaHVeH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS/Zedek.

Yirmi'Yah: 23:7:  Therefore, observe, the days come, says YaHVeH, that they shall no more say, YaHVeH lives, which brought up the children of Yisrael out of the land of Egypt/Mitsrayim;

8.  But, YaHVeH lives, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Yisrael out of the north country, and from all countries where I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Are you beginning to understand the difference between the body of Yahvshua and the nation of Yisrael (Rev. 12)? The nation of Yisrael (Physical flesh and blood) will be placed back into their land. The body of Yahvshua will be changed from corruptible (Physical flesh and blood/1 Corinthians 15) to Incorruptible (Ruach and burnished with Yahvshua/1 Yahvchanan/Yahn 3:2). We will be lifted off the earth to meet Yahvshua in the air (Zechar`Yah 14; 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 – 17) so we can descend on the Mount of Olives together. We will be helping Yahvshua to gather the children of Yisrael back together and placing them back in their land. The body of Yahvshua will be reigning on this earth as melekiym and koheniym (Rev. 1:6; 5:10). Do you see the difference?

Yirmi'Yah 23:9:  My heart within me is broken because of the foretellers/nebiyiym; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of YaHVeH, and because of the words of HIS kodeshness.

Yirmi'Yah is lamenting what he sees in Yisrael. We are seeing the same thing today that he saw, if we believe in Yahvshua the Mashiyach; Christianity and unbelieving Judaism and the error and corruption that they are in. Yahvshua the Mashiyach when He was walking on this earth in the flesh was dealing with the same problem. The chosen messengers/emissaries were dealing with the same issues. We today are dealing with the same situation. We need to make sure we are walking the talk, we are practicing what we preach, we are living what we believe and understand.

Yirmi'Yah: 23:10:  For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourns; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

11.  For both prophet and kohen are profane; yes, in MY House have I found their wickedness, said YaHVeH.

Comment on Yirmi'Yah 23:11:

In Yirmi`Yah’s day this was literally talking about the physical Heykal (“MY house”) as well in Yahvshua’s day (Mattith`Yah 24:1-2) and for one last third and final time in our day (Yirmi'Yah. 7:4). But it also is speaking about the Heykal that YaHVeH is building now through Yahvshua (1 Cor. 3:16). The enemy has planted tares in with the wheat (Mat. 13:24 – 30). They’re goats mixed in with the sheep (Mat. 25:31 – 46).

Yirmi'Yah 23:12:  Wherefore their way shall be to them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall in it: for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation, said YaHVeH.

Notice the phrase “...the year of their visitation...” There is a set time for these nebuah/foretellings to be fulfilled (Psalms 102:13). Read article:

Yirmi'Yah: 23:13:  And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria/Shomeron; they naba/foretell in Baal, and caused MY people Yisrael to err.

Sho-mer-on is speaking of the House of Yisrael (Ten tribes/1 Melekiym /Kings 11 and 12), which was to the North of Yahvshalayim. Yes, I think it is safe to say that the House of Yisrael is caught up in Christian traditions and doctrine (Baal worship/Rev. 13:11). But you cannot say that all those in Christianity are of the House of Yisrael (physical flesh blood line). They have been scattered over the earth and have lost their identity. The shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael are Ephrayim (UK) and Menashsheh (USA) (B`reshiyth/Genesis 48; 49:22 – 26). Remember the body of Yahvshua (Ruach and incorruptible) is composed of both children of Yisrael and Gentiles (Romans 11 and Revelation 7).

Yirmi'Yah 23:14:  I have seen also in the prophets of Yahvshalayim a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none does return from his wickedness; they are all of them to ME as Sodom/Sedom, and the inhabitants of it as Gomorrah/Amorah.

Yahvshalayim is speaking about the House of Yahudah (1 Melekiym 11 and 12); they were at the time of Yirmi'Yah the House in control of Yahvshalayim, and now again in these modern times they are again in control of Yahvshalayim and will build another 3rd and final heykal with the hand of man (political) and they are located south of Yahvshalayim.

Yirmi'Yah: 23:15:  Therefore this says YaHVeH of hosts concerning the prophets; observe I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Yahvshalayim is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

Yirmi'Yah: 23:16:  This said YaHVeH of hosts, Hearken not to the words of the prophets that prophesy to you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of YaHVeH.

How do you know when a person is a true nabiy or false prophet (Dabariym/Deuteronomy 13)?

1) If a true nabiy/foreteller is speaking the Word of YaHVeH he cannot stray from what the ancient nebiyiym have already spoken (1 Cor. 14:32). False prophets will say any vain thing that comes into his or her mine.

2) A true nabiy of today must teach from the law placed INSIDE the ark through belief in Yahvshua (Shemoth/Exodus 20; 31:18; 1 Melekiym 8:9; Yesha'Yah/Isaiah. 8:16; Yahn 8:12; Rev. 11:19; 12:17; 14:12). A false prophet will not (Yesha'Yah/Isaiah 8:20; Yahn 3:18).

3) A true nabiy will feed the sheep according to the seasons, which is the keeping of YaHVeH`s weekly (paganly referred to as "Friday" sundown to "Saturday" sundown B'reshiyth/Genesis 2:2; Shemoth/Exodus 16) and annual Sabbaths through belief in Yahvshua the Mashiyach (Hebrews 4; V`yakra/Leviticus 23). A false prophet will teach the traditions of man over the commandments of YaHVeH (Mark 7:7). A false prophet will replace YaHVeH`s Sabbaths with pagan customs (Yesha'Yah/Isaiah 5:24; 24:5; Daniy'Yah/Daniel 7:25).

You cannot necessarily tell if a person is a true nabiy or false prophet by miracles or what he or she says comes to pass (Dabariym/Deuteronomy 13; Mattith`Yah/Mat. 24:24; Acts 8:9 – 24). Remember the false prophets will be doing lying wonders and deceiving miracles (Rev. 13:14; 16:14; 19:20).

Yirmi'Yah: 23:17:  They say still to them that despise ME, "the LORD" has said, You all shall have peace/shalom; and they say to every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come on you.

Do you see the deception that is still ahead for the House of Yahudah and Christianity (as of this writing 09/11/04 – 06/25/6985* the 7th day of the week)? Unbelieving men are still looking to men or a man to bring them peace (Yirmi'Yah 6:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:3). Their heart is not on the ALMIGHTY and HIS Salvation (Yahvshua). The House of Yudah and Christianity still look to this world’s government (Mattith`Yah 4:8 – 10; Ya'akob/“James” 4:4) to solve their problems (1 Cor. 6:1 – 8). We as believers are to be set apart (Kodesh) from this way of thinking (Iybriyiym/Hebrews 11:10, 16; 12:22; 13:14).

Yirmi'Yah: 23:18:  For who has stood in the counsel of YaHVeH, and has perceived and heard HIS Word? Who has marked HIS Word, and heard it?

Verse 18 is speaking to the body of Yahvshua. Those who YaHVeH has called to HIS Ben Yahvshua (Yahn 6:44), they have repented from sin and been immersed (Acts 2:38). They have put their nose to the grindstone and studied YaHVeH`s Word from the "Old Testament" (From B'reshiyth/Genesis to the Nebiyiym/Foretellers) to the "New Testament" (From Mattith'Yah/Matthew to Revelation) to show them approved (Yesha'Yah 28:9 – 11; 2 Tim. 2:15). They build their understanding on the Emissaries, Nebiyiym and Yahvshua the Mashiyach the Chief Corner Stone (Eph. 2:20).

Yirmi'Yah: 23:19:  Observe a whirlwind of YaHVeH is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously on the head of the wicked.

The word for “whirlwind” in Hebrew means storm or tempest. In Kodesh Scriptural language it usually means military invasion (Yesha'Yah 5:28 read the entire chapter).

Yirmi'Yah: 23:20:  The anger of YaHVeH shall not return, until HE has executed, and till HE has performed the thoughts of HIS heart: in the latter days you all shall consider it perfectly.

Did you notice the phrase “in the latter days”? This nebuah/foretelling was not just for Yirmi`Yah’s day or Yahvshua’s day, but it is also for our day (Yirmi'Yah 22:29).

Yirmi'Yah: 23:21:  I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

22.  But if they had stood in MY counsel, and had caused MY people to hear MY Words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

See the phrase “hear MY Words”? Remember to read article:

38) "Hear my voice"

It’s important to understand why the Word of YaHVeH used this phrase; it is linked to Mount Sinai.

Yirmi'Yah 23:23:  Am I an Elohiym at hand, says YaHVeH, and not an Elohiym afar off?

23. Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Said YaHVeH. Do not I fill Shamayim and earth/erets? Said YaHVeH.

24. I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in MY name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

In verse 25 I hear this saying all the time on religious radio and television programs from the prophets of  Christianity.

Yirmi'Yah 23:26:  How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

27. Which think to cause MY people to forget MY name by their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten MY name for Baal.

We know verse 27 is true today in Christianity and Judaism. Unbelieving and even those who say they believe in the Messi`Yah in Judaism will not even spell out the pagan Babylonian astrological demon  name “god” in full when they write it on paper. But all you really have to do is pick up the Authorized King James scriptures, and see in the majority of scripture, Christianity influenced by Judaism has left out YaHVeH`s name, and replaced HIS name with the Baal title “LORD” and "GOD".

Text:  There are various Hebrew and Greek words so rendered.

(1.) Heb. YaHVeH has been rendered in the English Bible Lord, printed in small capitals. This is the proper name of the EL of the Hebrews. The form "YaHVeH" is retained only in Shemoth/Ex. 6:3; T`hiyliym/Ps. 83:18; Yeshayah/Isa. 12:2; 26:4, both in the Authorized and the Revised Version.

(2.) Heb. 'rab (H7227), means abundant, abound, captain, elder, exceedingly, great, master, mighty, officer...etc. It denotes a master, as of slaves (B`reshiyth 24:14, 27), or a ruler of his subjects (45:8), or a husband, as ruler of his wife (18:12). The old plural form of this Hebrew word is rabbiym. From a superstitious reverence for the name "YaHVeH," the Yudiym, in reading their Scriptures, whenever that name occurred, always pronounced it 'Adonai.

(3.) Greek kurios, a supreme master, etc. In the LXX. this is invariably used for "YaHVeH" and "Rabbi."

(4.) Heb. ba'al, a master, as having domination. This word is applied to human relations, as that of husband, to persons skilled in some art or profession, and to heathen deities. "The men of Shechem," literally "the baal`s of Shechem" (Shophetiym/Judg. 9:2, 3). These were the Israelite inhabitants who had reduced the Kena`aniym/Canaanites to a condition of vassalage (Yahvshua/Josh. 16:10; 17:13).

(5.) Heb. seren, applied exclusively to the "lords of the Philistines" (Shophetiym 3:3). The LXX. render it by satrapies. At this period the Pelishtiym/Philistines were not, as at a later period (1 Shemuel/Sam. 21:10), under a kingly government. (See Yahvshua 13:3; 1 Shemuel 6:18.) There were five such lordships, viz., Gath, Ashdod, Gaza, Ashkelon, and Ekron.

(1.) The name appropriated to the principal male idol of the Phoenicians. It is found in several places in the plural BAALIM (Shophetiym/Judg. 2:11; 10:10; 1 Melekiym/Kings 18:18; Yirmiyah/Jer. 2:23; Hos. 2:17). Baal is identified with Molech (Yirmiyah 19:5). It was known to the Yisraeliym as Baal-peor (B’midbar/Num. 25:3; Dabariym/Deut. 4:3), was worshipped till the time of Shemuel (1 Shemuel/Sam 7:4), and was afterwards the religion of the ten tribes in the time of Achab (1 Melekiym 16: 31-33; 18:19, 22). It prevailed also for a time in the kingdom of Yahudah (2 Melekiym 8:27; comp. 11:18; 16:3; 2 Dibrey ha`Hamiym/Chr. 28:2). till finally put an end to by the severe discipline of the Captivity (Zephanyah 1:4-6).

The priests of Baal were in great numbers (1 Melekiym 18:19), and of various classes (2 Melekiym 10:19). Their mode of offering sacrifices is described in 1 Melekiym 18:25-29. The sun-god, under the general title of Baal, or "lord," was the chief object of worship of the Kena`aniym/Canaanites. Each locality had its special Baal, and the various local Baal’s were summed up under the name of Baalim, or "lords." Each Baal had a wife, who was a colorless reflection of himself.

(2.) A Benyamiyn, ben of Yehiel, the progenitor of the Giboniym (1 Dibrey Ha’Yamiym 8:30; 9:36).

(3.) The name of a place inhabited by the Shimoniym, the same probably as Baal-ath-beer (1 Dibrey Ha’Yamiym 4:33; Yahvshua 19:8).

Yirmi'Yah 23:28:  The prophet that has a dream let him tell a dream; and he that has MY Word, let him speak MY Word trustfully. What is the chaff to the wheat; Said YaHVeH?

Remember the parable Yahvshua spoke about the tares and wheat in Mattith`Yah 13.

Yirmi'Yah 23:29:  Is not MY word like as a fire? Says YaHVeH; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

{Mattith`Yah/Matthew 21:44: And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.}

Yirmi'Yah 23:30:  Therefore, observe, I am against the prophets, said YaHVeH that steal MY Words every one from his neighbor.

How can a false prophet steal YaHVeH’s Word from his neighbor? When I think of something being stolen, a person must have it in possession first and then somebody has to come along a take the possession from that person. How do the prophets steal YaHVeH’s Word from his neighbor? Is it because they exclude part of YaHVeH’s Word today or eliminate it all together? I know Christianity (and Judaism) in “many” (Mat. 24:5) denominations will not even consider the nebiyiym/foretellers of old or the Old Testament and how it applies to us today. False prophets also steal it from his neighbor when YaHVeH has revealed something to what the false prophets refer to as a "lay...

...person" and the lay person speaks truthfully and trustfully what YaHVeH has revealed and the false prophets will say it isn't true or doesn't mean that. Amos the chosen nabiy in the 50th year of Azaryah/Uzziyah's reign faced this problem. He was just a shepherd; the false prophets could not accept that YaHVeH would even reveal HIS Word to him (Amos 1:1). Yahvshua the Mashiyach's chosen messengers/emissaries faced the same thing in their day. The educated class of Scribes, Sadducee’s and Pharisee's could not believe that YaHVeH's Word would choose them to proclaim HIS Word (Acts 4:13).

Yirmi'Yah 23:31:  Observe, I am against the prophets, says YaHVeH, that use their tongues, and say, HE said.

 32.  Observe, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, said YaHVeH, and do tell them, and cause MY people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says YaHVeH.

33.  And when this people, or the prophet, or a kohen, shall ask you, saying, what is the burden of YaHVeH? You shall then say to them, what burden? I will even forsake you, says YaHVeH.

34.  And as for the prophet, and the kohen, and the people, that shall say, the burden of YaHVeH, I will even punish that man and his house.

35. This shall you all say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, what has "the LORD" answered? And, What has "the LORD" spoken?

36.  And the burden of "the LORD" shall you all mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for you all have perverted the Words of the living Elohiym, of YaHVeH of hosts our Elohiym.

37. This shall you say to the prophet, what has YaHVeH answered you? And, What has YaHVeH spoken?

38.  But sense you all say, The burden of "the LORD"; therefore this says YaHVeH; Because you all say this word, The burden of "the LORD", and I have sent to you, saying, You all shall not say, The burden of "the LORD";

39.  Therefore, observe, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of MY presence:

40.    And I will bring an everlasting reproach on you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
