*Time has been set back one year to adjust for House of Yudah's membership into the UN in 1949 CE. Originally I had the time set at 1948 CE when they became a nation, but I see now that they did not put themselves under the Babylonian king’s thumb until 1949 CE. In Yirmiyah 25:12 and Daniy'Yah 9:2, YaHVeH has established a 70 year time line for the king of Babylon to be destroyed.
1 Corinthians: 13:12: For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Scripture is taken from KJV and Revised Standard and edited to remove blasphemous names (Rev. 17:3), words and titles and to give a more Iybriy/Hebrew rooted understanding; edited also because the "Mother of Harlots" has inserted these names to cover up the names of YaHVeH/יהוה and HIS Ben Yahvshua/יהושׁוּע, and to counterfeit a Babylonian Greco-Roman "god", "lord" "Jesus" "Christ"…etc. and promote its demonic idolatrous pagan customs and "holidays" by replacing YaHVeH's Sabbaths (Dan. 7:25).
B'reshiyth/Genesis: 4:8: And Cain/Kahyin talked with Abel/Hehbel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Kahyin rose up against Hehbel his brother, and slew him.
Now Hehbel becomes the first human sacrifice because of sin. This very same sin is what caused our Rabbi Yahshua to be killed (Mat. 21:33 – 46).
B'reshiyth: 4:9: And YaHVeH said to Kahyin, Where is Hehbel your brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother's keeper?
10. And HE said, what have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to ME from the ground.
11. And now are you cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand;
12. When you till the ground, it shall not from here on yield to you her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall you be in the earth.
If Kahyin could not till the ground for food how will he survive? He would have to rely on other means for his survival, how was Kahyin going to survive? Would he use the sweat of other men to sustain him? Would he use their labor to satisfy his appetite?
B'reshiyth: 4:13 And Kahyin said to YaHVeH, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14. Though YOU have driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from YOUR Face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that finds me shall slay me.
15. And YaHVeH said to him, therefore whosoever slays Kahyin, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And YaHVeH set a mark on Kahyin, unless any finding him should kill him.
From E-Sword Strong’s Hebrew Concordance the word “mark” is translated from:
H226
אות
'ôth
oth
Probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing); a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.: - mark, miracle, (en-) sign, token.
H225
אוּת
'ûth
ooth
A primitive root; properly to come, that is, (impliedly) to assent: - consent.
Many have speculated what this “mark” was, the verse simple does not say what it was, but it was a physical visible “mark”. I wonder does this “mark” have any significance with the “mark of the beast”?
{Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 13:16: And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17. And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred sixty and six.}
B'reshiyth:4:16: And Kahyin went out from the presence of YaHVeH, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17. And Kahyin knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch/Chanok: and he built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his ben, Chanok.
From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):
Topics: Nod
Text: exile; wandering; unrest, a name given to the country to which Kahyin fled (B`reshiyth 4:16). It lay on the east of Eden.
From E-Sword Strong’s Hebrew Concordance the word "Nod" means (edited):
H5113
נוד
nôd
node
The same as H5112; vagrancy; Nod, the land of Kahyin: - Nod.
H5112
נד נודּ
nôd nôd
node, node
From H5110; exile: - wandering.
H5110
נוּד
nûd
nood
A primitive root; to nod, that is, waver; figuratively to wander, flee, disappear; also (from shaking the head in sympathy), to console, deplore, or (from tossing the head in scorn) taunt: - bemoan, flee, get, mourn, make to move, take pity, remove, shake, skip for joy, be sorry, vagabond, way, wandering.
I believe the story of Kahyin is very applicable to us today.
I have never really given it much thought until I began my study into the book of B`reshiyth. As I was reading and praying for understanding I believe the Ruach of YaHVeH caused me to focus on two points:
1. Kahyin received a mark.
2. Kahyin was the first city builder.
I believe the reason Kahyin became the first city builder was directly related to the "curse" that the Word of YaHVeH placed on him:
B'reshiyth: 4:11: And now are you cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand;
12. When you till the ground, it shall not from here on yield to you strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall you be in the earth.
The question I have asked myself is: “If Kahyin could not grow food, how will he survive?”
The next action the Word of YaHVeH took with Kahyin was place a “mark” on him:
B'reshiyth: 4:15: And YaHVeH said to him, Therefore whosoever slays Kahyin, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And YaHVeH set a mark on Kahyin, unless any finding him should kill him.
Nobody to this day knows what exactly the “mark” was, but it had to be a very obvious sign. The question now is: "How did Kahyin deal with this curse and this 'mark' ?" Sense Kahyin was the first murderer he also was the second liar, a con man. Remember when the Word of YaHVeH asked Kahyin where his brother was, what did Kahyin reply:
B'reshiyth: 4:9: And YaHVeH said to Kahyin, Where is Hehbel your brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother's keeper?
Kahyin lied. He knew what he had done. How would Kahyin turn his “curse” and “mark” into his advantage?
Now that Kahyin was out of the presence of YaHVeH (B`reshiyth 4:16) Satan’s influence was even stronger on him. Kahyin had to think of some way to continue to exist, how? Kahyin had two things against him: 1) he couldn’t grow food easily and 2) he had this mark that everyone could see. What was he going to do? He sure didn’t show any signs of repenting from his sins, so the only thing Kahyin could do was make this curse and mark work for him. I believe Kahyin`s entire purpose in building a city was so he could make other people work for him. Sense YaHVeH cursed Kahyin from being able to grow any food he had to rely on others to grow it for him. I don’t believe Kahyin made this curse known to others, no I believe Kahyin promised those that would live in his city they would receive some type of benefit. What that benefit was I’m not sure. It could have been some type of protection. Maybe Kahyin promised people a more convenient life. If you think about it what are some of the same attitudes we have today towards living in cities?
What about the “mark” Kahyin received? Well I believe that Kahyin used this mark to his advantage also. I don’t believe Kahyin had any remorse about murdering his brother. I don’t believe Kahyin had any problem lying about the mark YaHVeH gave him. This mark made Kahyin stick out like a sore thumb, and sense he had this mark and no one could kill him because of it; this might be what he used to persuade people to live in his city. Kahyin might have told people that he could not be killed because of the mark and that anyone around him would have the same benefit. I know this is pure speculation, I don’t know for sure what happen. The point is Kahyin was rebellious towards YaHVeH. Just as Satan lied about the fact that we wouldn’t die if Adam and Eve/Chavvah ate from the “Tree of Knowledge of Wealth and Evil”. This lie implies that we will not die at all. The same attitude of rebellion is alive and well today. It is this same mind-set of rebellion that we ourselves had before we were called and converted, it gives us the ability to understand Kahyin`s rebellious mine. It is from this attitude of rebellion that many of our large cities are raised up. Some of you reading this might live in a big city; you know the air in them. One approach I can think of is the attitude of superiority (I Corinthians 1:18 – 31). Those who live in big cities usually perceive themselves as more intelligent (Tree of Knowledge of Wealth and Evil), more culturally refined. I’m not saying as a believer in Yahshua (the way the chosen Messengers taught) that it is wrong to live in a big city. I’m just saying as a new creation in Yahshua Messiyah we all need to be on guard of these attitudes. Remember knowledge puffs up (I Corinthians. 8:1). When Yahshua returns to set up YaHVeH`s Dominion these cities we have today will not be built around buying, selling, greed or corruption. Society will be based on the worship of YaHVeH through Yahshua and cities and towns will be structured around agriculture. The cities of today are based on idol things made with the hand of man and the hiding of the fact as flesh and blood humans we rely on what the ground/agriculture produces from YaHVeH barukah/abundance to survive.
The cities of this age (the world today) are based on Kahyin`s motivation; they have his “mark”. Sense Kahyin was cursed from growing his own food he wanted to do everything he could to forget about that curse. Today many children grow up without a thought of where the food they eat comes from. Children’s connection that we have been made from the dust of the earth has been erased from their memories due to big city life.
Think about it, is not the “mark of the beast” given for economic advantage? So this “mark” is going to be very appealing to those who want to eat. I believe this verse in T`hiyliym/Psalms does have some connection to those who refuse to accept the “mark”:
{T'hiyliym/Psalms: 33:18: Observe, the Eye of YaHVeH is on them that fear HIM, on them that trust in HIS compassion;
19. To deliver their life from death, and to keep them alive in famine.}
If you read Yesha'Yah/Isaiah 14, Yirmi'Yah/Jeremiah 50, 51, Yechizki'Yah/Ezekiel 28 and Revelation 18 I believe it will help you grasp why I have come to this understanding.
I am beginning to understanding that the “mark of the beast” will begin to be given starting in the 3rd seal, which causes the 3rd trumpet to sound, which cause the 3rd malak to take action. This would mean that the “mark of the beast” would begin to be given before the “Great Tribulation” begins. Here are the verses in Revelation relating to the 3rd seal, 3rd trumpet, 3rd malak (Revelation 6:5-6; 8:10-11; 14:9-14). I want you to notice in Revelation chapter 14:9, the “mark of the beast” is mentioned again.
If you will notice Revelation 6:5-6 the third seal is speaking about food stuffs being affected.
I want to be clear. Most people on earth have already received the "mark of the beast" by their disobedience to YaHVeH's Torah/Commandments, which includes YaHVeH`s Sabbath and Feast Days (Dan. 7:25). With the technology we have today and from the signals in the news, Satan is going to use this technology in some way to mark his people. You can already see it today, that most people are ready and willing to do anything that has to do with technology.
Here is a couple links that describes the philosophy of "Futurism":
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurism
"Marinetti expressed a passionate loathing of everything old, especially political and artistic tradition. "We want no part of it, the past", he wrote, "we the young and strong Futurists!" The Futurists admired speed, technology, youth and violence, the car, the airplane and the industrial city, all that represented the technological triumph of humanity over nature, and they were passionate nationalists. They repudiated the cult of the past and all imitation, praised originality, "however daring, however violent", bore proudly "the smear of madness", dismissed art critics as useless, rebelled against harmony and good taste, swept away all the themes and subjects of all previous art, and gloried in science."
