Shemoth/Exodus: 23:20: Observe, I send an Malak before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.
This Malak was Yahvshua before He came in the flesh. This represented the end time fulfillment when Yahvshua would return.
Look what V`yakra/Leviticus 26:8 says about what the armies of Yisrael will do:
V`yakra/Leviticus: 26:8: And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
This is what Yahshua said about those who are of His Kingdom:
Yahvchanan/Yahn/Yohn: 18:36: Yahshua answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Yudiy: but now is My kingdom not from here.
This will not happen until the 7th Shophar is blown. Yahshua's army will NOT be flesh and blood human beings; they will be incorruptible born again children of YaHVeH, the Bride of Yahvshua.
Read all of Revelation/Raz Galah 19.

This is my reply to a message board conversation in one of the MSN groups I was a member of called “Sabbath keepers”:
Who are the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation chapter 7 and 14? Are these “chosen” men of the bloodline of Yisrael? Or, are the 144,000 people (men and women) who have stuck to the truth and not been led astray by the Beast power? The only authority we can go by at this time is YaHVeH’s written Word, called the scriptures (“Holy Bible” 2 Timothy 2:15), guided by and taught by HIS Kodesh Ruach (Yahn 16:13; 1 Yahn 2:27). We have nothing else at this time to be guided by. Now that this has been said let’s look at Revelation and see what it says about the 144,000.
Does Revelation say that the 144,000 are people (men and women) or men?
Revelation: 7:4: And I heard the number of them, which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Yisrael.
In Revelation chapter 7 we have verse 4 that clearly states where the 144,000 are coming from. It says “...of all the tribes of the children of Yisrael.” This verse cannot be any clearer. The 144,000 are from the literal bloodline tribes of Yisrael, just as the 12 limmudiym, including Shaul (Paul) were. Now, if you were not convinced that the 144,000 are direct bloodline descendants of the tribes of Yisrael, Revelation chapter 7 continues to confirm this by stating from what tribe each will be coming from:
Revelation: 7:5: Of the tribe of Yahudah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad/God were sealed twelve thousand.
Re: 7:6: Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Naphtaliy were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Menashsheh were sealed twelve thousand.
Re: 7:7: Of the tribe of Shimon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Leviy were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Yissaskar were sealed twelve thousand.
Re: 7:8: Of the tribe of Zabulun were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Yoseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Binyamiyn were sealed twelve thousand.
Now when verse 4 says all of the tribes of Yisrael we can see clearly that two tribes are not mentioned. I have an idea of why the other two tribes are not mentioned, I will explain this as you continue to read. The two tribes not mentioned are Ephrayim and Dan/Don. Ephrayim was one of Yoseph’s benniym promised great material wealth and power (B`reshiyth/Genesis 48).
So, Revelation chapter 7 makes it very clear that the 144,000 are from the literal bloodline of the tribes of Yisrael, and nowhere else.
The next question; are these 144,000 from the literal tribes of Yisrael men and women, or are they just men? We can only use YaHVeH`s Word (Yahshua the Messiy`Yah) to help us understand these issues through guidance of HIS Ruach. In Revelation chapter 14 YaHVeH reveals clearly that these 144,000 are virgin men:
Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 14:4: These are they, which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wheresoever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to YaHVeH and to the Lamb.
Verse 4 of Revelation chapter 14 is not speaking about men and women; it is speaking clearly of just men! The reason I know this is because it says they are “...not defiled with women...” Than the verse clearly goes on to say, “These were redeemed from among men...”
There is no other way to understand these verses. It is not some type of symbolism in this case it is the literal meaning.
Does YaHVeH`s Word confirm that there will still be literal children of Yisrael in Yahvshalayim during "Great Tribulation"/"Ya`akob`s Trouble"? We can first answer this question in Revelation chapter 11:
Revelation: 11:1: And there was given me a reed like to a rod: and the malak stood, saying, Rise, and measure the heykal of YaHVeH, and the altar, and them that worship in it.
Even though Revelation 11 does not say Yahvshalam nowhere in the chapter, every student of the scriptures knows that YaHVeH`s heykal can only be built in Yahvshalam. The location of the “two witnesses” will be in Yahvshalam. Read articles:

Updated 07/05/6988 [5767] 6th day of the week (09/29/06).
What does the “Old Testament” Nebiyiym/Foretellers have to say about this issue? Does YaHVeH`s foretelling Word say that HE will leave a remnant in Yahvshalam that will not be totally destroyed by the “Great Tribulation”?
Zechar`Yah: 12:6: In that day will I make the governors of Yahudah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Yahvshalam shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Yahvshalam.
Zechar`Yah: 12:7: YaHVeH also shall save the tents of Yahudah first, that the splendor of the house of David and the splendor of the inhabitants of Yahvshalam do not magnify themselves against Yahudah.
Now notice that the ALMIGHTY is going to “...make the governors of Yahudah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf...”
Notice what the “two witnesses” will be doing:
Revelation: 11:4: These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the elohiym/"god" of the earth.
Compare Revelation 11:4 with Zecharyah 6:5 and 2 Corinthians 4:4:
{Zechar`Yah:6:5: And the malak answered and said to me, These are the four ruach of the shamayim, which go forth from standing before the adon/lord of all the earth.
2 Corinthian:4:4: In whom the elohiym of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, unless the light of the spectacular glad tidings of Messiy`Yah, who is the image of YaHVeH, should shine to them.}
Revelation: 11:5: And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
You can see clearly from Zechar`Yah 12 that there will be believer’s in the Body of Yahshua who will be in Yahvshalam and Revelation chapter 11 confirms this.
The question now is when Zechar`Yah 12 refers to those as Yahudah does it just mean the tribe of Yahudah? Or does Yahudah imply other tribes being mixed in with them? I believe when it is speaking about Yahudah in this way that YaHVeH is speaking about the “House” that is visible to the world. That “House” is the “House of Yahudah”. Remember in 1 Melekiym/Kings 11 YaHVeH divided the children of Yisrael into two “Houses”, the “House of Yisrael” (ten tribes) and the “House of Yahudah” (two tribes).
The House of Yisrael has been hidden from world view. They are still on the earth but they themselves don’t know their own identity and neither does the world. YaHVeH calls them HIS “hidden ones” in T`hiyliym/Psalms 83:3:
T`hiyliym: 83:3: They have taken crafty counsel against YOUR people, and consulted against YOUR hidden ones.
Do you remember what happen to Yoseph? Yoseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers and carried away to Mitsrayim. After thirteen years (B`reshiyth 37:2; 41:46) Yoseph’s brothers come in contact with him but they don’t recognize him (B`reshiyth 42:7-8). It is hidden from them who he is. It is no different today. The House of Yahudah doesn’t know who the shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael (UK/Ephraim and USA/Manasseh) are (B`reshiyth 48; 49: 22 – 26). YaHVeH has done this.
The House of Yahudah is the only visible “House” the world sees. In T`hiyliym 83:3 the “House of Yahudah” is referred to as “YOUR people”. In 1 Melekiym 11 you can read what the Word of YaHVeH does in dividing up the two “Houses”. You can read the entire chapter for yourself; I will quote a few verses to emphasize my point:
1 Melekiym/Kings: 11:11: Wherefore YaHVeH said to Shelomo/Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of you, and you have not kept MY covenant and MY statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to you servant.
1 Melekiym: 11:12: Notwithstanding in your days I will not do it for David your ab`s/father`s sake: but I will tear it out of the hand of your ben.
1 Melekiym: 11:13: Howbeit I will not tear away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to your ben for David MY servant's sake, and for Yahvshalam`s sake which I have chosen.
As you can see from verse 13 YaHVeH is going to allow “one tribe” to continue on in Yahvshalam until the second coming of Yahshua the Messiy`Yah in the clouds. If you continue to read 1 Melekiym chapters 11 and 12 the Word of YaHVeH explains what HE means by “one tribe”:
1 Melekiym: 11:31: And he said to Yarobam, Take you ten pieces: for this said YaHVeH, the Elohiym of Yisrael, Observe, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Shelomo, and will give ten tribes to you:
1 Melekiym: 11:32: (But he shall have one tribe for MY servant David's sake, and for Yahvshalam`s sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Yisrael:)
The Word of YaHVeH reemphasizes in verse 32 what is said in verse 13.
1 Melekiym: 11:36: And to his ben will I give one tribe, that David MY servant have a light always before ME in Yahvshalam, the city which I have chosen ME to put MY name there.
Notice YaHVeH says “...a light always before ME in Yahvshalam...” Also notice the significance the ALMIGHTY puts on HIS name by HIM saying "...the city which I have chosen ME to put MY name there."
Now notice not all the children of Yisrael departed out of Yahudah:
1 Melekiym: 12:17: But as for the children of Yisrael which dwelt in the cities of Yahudah, Rechabam reigned over them.
These children of Yisrael in verse 17 were not just of the tribe of Yahudah, but as you will see they become known as part of the tribe of Yahudah and is why all the tribe’s today are called “Jews” (a disrespectful slang name for Yahudah/"Judah").
1 Melekiym: 12:20: And it came to pass, when all Yisrael heard that Yarobam was come again, that they sent and called him to the assembly, and made him melek over all Yisrael: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Yahudah only.
Remember the Houses were divided into two Houses, the House of Yisrael into ten tribes and the House of Yahudah into two tribes, you will see as you read in the next verse in 1 Melekiym 12, that the tribe of Binyamiyn (The Emissary Shaul/"Paul" was from this tribe Romans 11:1) is included as the second tribe in the House of Yahudah:
1 Melekiym: 12:21: And when Rechabam was come to Yahvshalam, he assembled all the house of Yahudah, with the tribe of Binyamiyn, a hundred and eighty thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Yisrael, to bring the kingdom again to Rechabam the ben of Shelomo.
Notice in verse 22 the verse mentions “...the remnant of the people...” :
1 Melekiym: 12:22: But the Word of Elohiym came to Shem-a`Yah/Shemayah the man of Elohiym, saying,
1 Melekiym: 12:23: Speak to Rechabam, the ben of Shelomo, melek of Yahudah, and to all the house of Yahudah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
“The remnant of the people” is speaking of the all the other tribes of the ten tribes that stayed with the House of Yahudah. YaHVeH considers the remnant of the ten tribes that stayed with the House of Yahudah to be part of the House of Yahudah. Remember Leviy is part of this remnant because they are the kohen tribe.
You need to also remember that the Body of Yahshua began in Yahvshalam:
Luke: 24:47: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Yahvshalam.
Lu: 24:49: And, observe, I send the promise of MY FATHER on you: but tarry you all in the city of Yahvshalam, until you all be endued with power from on high.
Acts: 1:4: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Yahvshalam, but wait for the promise of the FATHER, which, said He, you all have heard of Me.
Acts: 1:5: For Yahvchanan/Yahn truly immersed with water; but you all shall be immersed with the Kodesh Ruach not many days from now.

As we can clearly see from these verses there will be believers (Body of Yahshua) in Yahvshalam while the “Great Tribulations” is taking place. Read article: 26) The Two Witnesses
The “Great Tribulation” is YaHVeH`s punishment on the unbelieving children of Yisrael (Physical flesh and blood, all the tribes/Yirmi`Yah 13:21; Hoshea 8:14). YaHVeH uses Satan to do this. The "Great Tribulation"/"Ya`akob`s Trouble" will also be the tool that YaH ALMIGHTY uses to purge (Yahn/Yohn 15:1-2; Rev. 2:5, 16, 21-22; 3:3, 19 – 21) the Body of Yahshua (composed of believers of children of Yisrael and Gentile people/Romans 11 and Revelation 7 first resurrection).
You cannot understand the book of Revelation unless you include and understand the “Old Testament” nebiyiym/foretellers. If you have not done a thorough study in the “Old Testament” nebiyiym you must do so before you even try to begin to understand the book of Revelation. Remember to read and study all the scriptures (2 Tim. 2:15).
I have included links to other articles written that add to this article, please read them to receive an over all understanding on this subject.
The “144,000” I believe are bloodline Yisraeliym/Yisraelite`s and will be in the Promised Land (Yahvshalam), they are part of the Body of Yahshua, and will be changed from corruptible to incorruptible at the sound of the 7th trumpet (“Last Shophar” 1 Cor. 15:52; 1Thes. 4:13 – 17; Rev. 7:1 – 8; 10:7). Compare these two verses:
Yechizki`Yah/Ezekiel:9:4: And YaHVeH said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Yahvshalam, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst of it.
Revelation:7:3: Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our EL in their foreheads.
I believe the “Great Multitude” to be scattered around the world, children of Yisrael and Gentiles believers, part of the Body of Yahshua that have survived (Romans 11; Heb. 12:6-7; Rev. 2:5,16,21-22, 3:3, 19; 18:4) the “Great Tribulation” (5th and 6th shophar/trumpet), and will be changed from corruptible to incorruptible at the sound of the 7th Shophar ("Last Trump"/Shophar 1 Cor. 52; 1Thes. 4:13 – 17; Rev. 7: 9 – 17; 10:7).
Yes, while the “Great Tribulation” is taking place there will be believer’s (part of the Body of Yahshua) who will be murdered and persecuted for their testimony of Yahshua the Messiy`Yah. All the dead in Messiy`Yah, whether it happened two thousand years ago or today will be raised from the dead (1Thes. 4:15; Rev. 6:9 – 11; 11:7,11-12) first and meet Yahshua in the clouds (Mat. 24:30; 26:64; Mark 14:62; 1Thes. 4:17; Rev. 1:7). Than those who are left alive in the Body of Yahshua at His return will be changed and meet Yahshua our Savior and those who have already been raised from the dead in the air, so we can descend on the Mount of Olives with them (Zech. 14:4).
Ephrayim and Dan, why are these two tribes not listed in Revelation 7?
05/07/6987 [5765] 6th day of the week [08/12/05]
Updated 10/09/6996 [5775] 5th day of the week [01/01/15]
I believe the reason why Ephrayim is not mentioned in Revelation 7 is because when you see Yoseph, YaHVeH is speaking about both tribes (B`midbar/Numbers 26:28). Remember Menashsheh was split in half, into two tribes. I believe when YaHVeH`s Word says Yoseph HE is combining both Ephrayim and Menashsheh (B`reshiyth/Genesis 41:50 – 52), which crossed on the west side of the Yarden (Jordan) River (B`midbar 34:13). When Menashsheh is listed HE is speaking about half of the other tribe that stayed on the east side of the Yarden River (B`midbar 32:19, 33; 34:14 – 15).
I believe the reason the tribe of Dan is not mentioned is because they have been consumed into their pagan practices. It is going to take a little longer for them to be purged of their idolatry. The foretelling of the tribe of Dan in B`reshiyth 49 says:
B`reshiyth/Genesis: 49:16: Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Yisrael.
B`reshiyth: 49:17: Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
B`reshiyth: 49:18: I have waited for thy salvation, O YaHVeH.
In verse 16 the Hebrew word for “judge” in E-sword Strong’s Concordance is:
Di^yn du^n
Deen, Doon
A primitive root (compare H113); to rule; by implication to judge (as umpire); also to strive (as at law): - contend, execute (judgment), judge, minister judgment, plead (the cause), at strife, strive.
If we view the tribe of Dan in this light their involvement with the children of Yisrael will be in law enforcement or in judging the people. So you can believe that the descendants of Dan in the “lasts days” (B`reshiyth 49:1) will be involved in governmental matters that will be judging the children of Yisrael.
Now in B`reshiyth 49:17 if we continue in the representation of the “serpent” in scriptural definition we will begin to understand that the tribe of Dan has been greatly influenced by Satan:
B`reshiyth: 3:14: And YaHVeH Elohiym said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; on your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life:
B`reshiyth: 3:15: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.
Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 12:9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the entire world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation: 13:11: And I observed another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
We can clearly see that the serpent and the dragon in scriptural language symbolize Satan. Dan’s governmental and religious (Rev. 13:11) influence on the children of Yisrael will be great in the “last days”. Read articles:

Where in scripture’s can we find the early stages of Dan’s influence on the children of Yisrael?
V’yakra/Leviticus: 24:10: And the ben of an Yisraeliy woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Yisrael: and this ben of the Yisraeliy woman and a man of Yisrael strove together in the camp;
V’yakra: 24:11: And the Yisraeliy woman's ben blasphemed the name of YaHVeH, and cursed. And they brought him to Mosheh: (and his mother's name was Shel-o-miyth, the daughter of Dib-riy, of the tribe of Dan:)
B`midbar/Numbers: 2:25: The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ach-iy-e-zer the ben of Am-miy-shad-da-iy.
Yasha’Yah/Isiah: 14:13: For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into Shamayim, I will exalt my throne above the stars of EL: I will sit also on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Its very important to understand why in Yasha`Yah 14:13 that the verse says “...I will sit also on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:” If you have studied the scriptures you will understand that YaHVeH placed the tribes of Yisrael in certain directions in the camp. They were placed in a certain arrangement when they marched (B`midbar 10:13 – 27) and in another arrangement when they camped (B`midbar 2:1 – 34; 7:1 – 84).
Click on link to see how the tribes of Yisrael camped:
The tribes that were in the north were Dan, Asher and Naphtali when they camped. But when the children of Yisrael marched the tribe of Dan, Asher and Naphtaliy were in the rear:
See illustration below on how the children of Yisrael were arranged to march:
This is where B`reshiyth 3:15 and 49:17 comes in:
B`reshiyth: 3:15: And I will put enmity between you and the woman1, and between your seed and her seed2; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel4.
“And I will put enmity between you and the woman1...” hatred (enmity) between the serpent and the woman:
Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 12:4: And his tail drew the third part of the stars of Shamayim, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born3.
The serpent is Satan and the woman is the entire house of Yisrael, all the tribes (physical flesh and blood).
“...And between your seed and her seed2...” between Satan’s seed and the woman’s seed. Who is the seed of the woman? “...Which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born3.” Yahshua the Messiy`Yah is the seed of the woman. But Yahshua has already been changed from corruptible to incorruptible (Mat. 28:6, 18; Romans 8:29; Col. 1:18). So the child ready to be born is the rest of the Body of Yahshua. Who is the Body of Yahshua? Those that believe in Yahshua (Yahn/Yohn 1:12), repented from sin (Yahn 5:14; 8:11; 1 Yahn 3:4), immersed in His name and received YaHVeH`s Ruach (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38) are part of the Body of Yahshua, made up of many members (1 Cor. 12:12, 27). Read articles:
42) The Woman of Revelation 12, who is she?
73) This is How I Understand Predestination
“...It shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel4.” The seed of the woman will bruise Satan’s head but in the process the seed of the woman’s heel will be bruised. Who is the woman’s “heel?” If we continue in using the scriptures to define the representations and definitions you will see that the tribe of Dan was at the end (rear, tail) of the line when the camp of Yisrael marched. See above illustration. The Hebrew/Iybriy word for “heel” in E-sword Strong’s Concordance is:
Updated 10/09/6996 [5775] 5th day of the week [01/01/15]
‛a^qe^b ‛iqqeba^h
Aw-kabe', ik-keb-aw'
From H6117; a heel (as protuberant); hence a track; figuratively the rear (of an army). (lier in wait is by mistake for H6120.): - heel, [horse-] hoof, last, lier in wait [by mistake for H6120], (foot-) step.
B`reshiyth: 49:17: Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
Again if you will notice the location of Dan when the camp of Yisrael was marching the tribe was in the rear. Because of the idolatry that is in Dan this tribe was and is causing the march of the camp of the children of Yisrael to be hindered:
Yasha`Yah: 1:4: Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupter's: they have forsaken YaHVeH, they have provoked the Kadosh One of Yisrael to anger, they are gone away backward.
What else does the scriptures say about Dan? Notice Dabariym/Deuteronomy 27:13:
Dabariym/Deuteronomy: 27:13: And these shall stand on mount Eybal to curse; Reuben1, Gad2, and Asher3, and Zebulun4, Dan5, and Naphtaliy6.
Notice the tribes that were part of the cursing in verse 13, if we keep Revelation chapter 7 in mind it seems all the others tribes overcome the curses in the “last days” but the tribe of Dan doesn’t.
Dabariym: 33:22: And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
The Hebrew word for “whelp” is:
Gu^r, gu^r
Goor, goor
Perhaps from H1481; a cub (as still abiding in the lair), especially of the lion: - whelp, young one.
This verse in Dabariym 33:22 I believe indicates when Yahshua Messiy`Yah returns in the clouds, that the only ones that will be left alive in the tribe of Dan will be young ones, to young of an age to be considered an adult. Refer to B`midbar 14:
B`midbar: 14:31: But your little ones, which you all said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land, which you all have despised.
From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):
Topics: Ba'shan
Text: light soil, first mentioned in B`reshiyth/Gen. 14:5, where it is said that Ked-or-la-omer and his confederates "smote the Rephaiym in Ashteroth," where Og the king of Bashan had his residence. At the time of Yisrael's entrance into the Promised Land, Og came out against them, but was utterly routed (B`midbar/Num. 21:33-35; Dabariym/Deut. 3:1-7).
This country extended from Gilad/Gilead in the south to Hermon in the north, and from the Yarden/Jordan on the west to Salkah on the east. Along with the half of Gilad it was given to the half-tribe of Menashsheh (Yahvshua/Josh. 13:29-31). Golan, one of its cities, became a "city of refuge" (Yahshua 21:27). Argob, in Bashan, was one of Shelomo`s/Solomon's commissariat districts (1 Melekiym/Kings 4:13). The cities of Bashan were taken by Hazael (2 Melekiym 10:33), but were soon after reconquered by Yahvash/Jehoash (2 Melekiym 13:25), who overcame the Aramiym/Syrians in three battles, according to the word of Eliysha (19). From this time Bashan almost disappears from history, although we read of the wild cattle of its rich pastures (Yekizkiyah/Ezek. 39:18; T`hiyliym/Ps. 22:12), the oaks of its forests (Yasha`Yah/Isa. 2:13; Yekizkiyah 27:6; Zechar`Yah/Zech. 11:2), and the beauty of its extensive plains (Amos 4:1; Yirmi`Yah/Jer. 50: 19). Soon after the conquest, the name "Gilad" was given to the whole country beyond Yarden. After the Exile, Bashan was divided into four districts,
(1.) Gaulonitis, or Jaulan, the most western;
(2.) Auranitis, the Havran (Yekizkiyah 47:16);
(3.) Argob or Trachonitis, now the Lejah; and
(4.) Batanaea, now Ard-el-Bathanyeh, on the east of the Lejah, with many deserted towns almost as perfect as when they were inhabited. (See HAURAN/HAVRAN.)
Shimshon/Samson was from the tribe of Dan (Shophetiym/Judges 13:2, 25). Shimshon lusted after strange women (Shophetiym 14:1-2), which lead to him losing his great strength, taken captive by the Pelishtiym/Philistines and his eyes being put out (Shophetiym chapters 13 -16).
Chapter 18 of Shophetiym should be closely considered when trying to understand why the tribe of Dan is not listed in Revelation chapter 7. The verse that really jumps out at me is verse 19 (Shophetiym 18:13 –19):
Shophetiym/Judges: 18:19: And they said to him, Hold your tongue, lay your hand on your mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for you to be a priest to the house of one man, or that you be a priest to a tribe and a family in Yisrael?
Remember what Yahshua ha`Mashiyach said in Matith`Yah/Matthew chapter 23:
Matith’Yah: 23:9: And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your FATHER, which is in shamayim.
Are you beginning to see what influence the tribe of Dan has had on the children of Yisrael? The most popular traditional Christian organization in the Western world is the Roman Catholic Church. They also call their priest “father” and their leader “Pope”, which is another form for the title father. Refer to articles especially:
72) How Yechizki’Yah/Ezekiel chapter 16 ties into Revelation chapter 17
86) There never has been, is not, and never will be the Messiy`Yah in Baal(Christ)mas!
This brings us to Revelation chapter 13:11:
If we continue to use the written Word of YaHVeH through the power of YaHVeH`s Ruach to guide us (2 Tim. 2:15; 1 Yahn 2:27) then we must always consider Daniy`Yah/Daniel chapters 2 and 7 to give us added understanding of the book of Revelation (Yasha`Yah/Isaiah 42:9). The other “... beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon” we must understand is a political religious influence on the earth. Remember in Daniy`Yah chapter 2 we come to the legs of the statue. The legs represent the east and west divide of the Roman Empire. But remember that Yahshua Messiy`Yah had not come in the flesh when Daniy`Yah was given his visions. At the time before Yahshua the Mashiyach the Roman Empire is pagan (Rev. 13:1 – 9) but something happens to the Roman Empire after Yahshua comes, the Roman Empire changes its image a little to appeal to everybody, you know the masses (Rev. 13:10 – 18). We know through historical record that the biggest change came when Constantine I became ruler. It is clear that the “two horns like a lamb” represent religious influence that looks like it is from Yahshua the Messiy`Yah in the east and west divide of the Roman Empire (Mat. 24:5). But if you read the rest of the verse the power and influence of this political religious structure is guided by Satan because “...he spoke as a dragon.”

If you continue to read Shophetiym chapter 18 you will see that the tribe of Dan was a ruthless warrior tribe:
Shophetiym: 18:26: And the children of Dan went their way: and when Miykah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back to his house.
Shophetiym: 18:27: And they took the things which Miykah had made, and the priest which he had, and came to Layish, to a people that were at quiet and secure: and they hit them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.
Shophetiym: 18:28: And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Ziydon, and they had no business with any man; and it was in the valley that lies by Beyth-Rehob. And they built a city, and dwelt in it.
Shophetiym: 18:29: And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Yisrael: howbeit the name of the city was La-yish at the first.
Shophetiym: 18:30: And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Yahvchanan, the ben of Ge-resh-om, the ben of Menashsheh, he and his benniym were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.
Shophetiym: 18:31: And they set them up Miykah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the house of Elohiym was in Shiyloh.
From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):
Topics: La'ish/La`yish
Text: a lion.
(1.) A city of the Ziydoniym/Sidonians, in the extreme north of Pelesheth/Palestine (Shophetiym 18:7, 14); called also Leshem (Yahshua 19:47) and Dan (Shophetiym 18:7, 29; Yirmiyah 8: 16). It lay near the sources of the Yarden, about 4 miles from Paneas. The restless and warlike tribe of Dan (q.v.), looking out for larger possessions, invaded this country and took Layish with its territory. It is identified with the ruin Tell-el-Kady, "the mound of the judge," to the north of the Waters of Merom (Yahshua 11:5).
Topics: Re'hob
Text: street; broad place.
(3.) The same, probably, as Beyth-rehob (2 Shemuel/Sam. 10:6, 8; Shophetiym 18:28), a place in the north of Pelesheth (B`midbar/Num. 13:21). It is now supposed to be represented by the castle of Hunin, south-west of Dan, on the road from Hamath into Coele-Syria/Aram.
(4.) A town of Asher (Yahshua 19:28), to the east of Ziydon.
(5.) Another town of Asher (Yahshua 19: 30), kept possession of by the Kena`aniy/Canaanites (Shophetiym 1:31).
The tribe of Dan seems to be the most idolatrous out of all the tribes of Yisrael (Shophetiym 18:30). If you notice in verse 30 of Shophetiym 18 that the tribe of Dan sets up the graven image they stole from Miykah. Remember YaHVeH says to remember what HE did in Shiyloh:
YirmiYah/Jeremiah: 7:12: But go you all now to MY place, which was in Shiyloh, where I set MY name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of MY people Yisrael.
Here is what the nabiy/foreteller Amos was given by the Word of YaHVeH:
Amos: 8:14: They that swear by the sin of Shomeron/Samaria, and say, Your elohiym, O Dan, lives; and, The manner of Beersheba lives; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
Will Dan as a tribe be totally eliminated? YaHVeH forbids. Look what B`reshiyth 49:18 says:
B`reshiyth: 49:18: I have waited for YOUR salvation, O YaHVeH.
In the end Dan will be saved as the scriptures says all of Yisrael will be saved:
Romans: 11:26: And so all Yisrael shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Ziyon the Deliverer, and shall turn away beliyaal from Ya`akob:

If I didn't make it clear in my post, I'm going to make it clear right now. The "Great Multitude" are mixed with men and women, married and unmarried children of Yisrael and Gentiles, who are no longer considered Gentiles nor do they consider themselves to be Gentiles. Only the 144,000 are virgin men and of the literal bloodline of the tribes of Yisrael. And only the 144,000 will be allowed to fight with the Lamb because they follow Him where ever He goes. The Lamb is going to the valley of Megiddo to fight with the Beast with the ten horns and any other enemy in the Adamah/Land. Remember Yahshua will descend onto the Mount of Olive with all the Kadoshiym (144,000 and Great Multitude Zech. 14:4-5), which is to the east of Yahvshalam. The 144,000 will follow Yahshua the Lamb to the north west to Megiddo.
