The Ten Kings of Revelation Chapter 13

Updated 10/15/6988 [5767] 7th day of the week [01/06/07]
Updated 04/20/6996 [5774] 7th day of the week/Shabbat [07/19/14]

Scripture is taken from KJV and other translations and edited to remove blasphemous names (Rev. 17:3), words and titles and to give a more Iybriy/Hebrew rooted understanding; edited also because the "Mother of Harlots" has inserted these names to cover up the names of YaHVeH/יהוה and HIS Ben Yahvshua/יהושׁוּע, and to counterfeit a Babylonian Greco-Roman "god", "lord" "Jesus" "Christ"…etc. and promote its demonic idolatrous pagan customs and "holidays" by replacing YaHVeH's Sabbaths (Dan. 7:25).

Yirmi'Yah/Jeremiah: 4:10: Then said I, Ah, Rabbi YaHViH! surely YOU have greatly deceived this people and Yahvshalam, saying, You all shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches to the life.

Yirmi'Yah: 8:11: For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of MY people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Obad`Yah: 1:7: All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is no understanding in him.

Daniy`Yah/Daniel: 8:25: And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince/Sar of princes/sar; but he shall be broken without hand.

Daniy`Yah: 11:21: And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the respect of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Daniy`Yah: 11:24: He shall enter peaceably even on the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yes, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

T`hiyliym/Psalms: 83:4: They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Yisrael be no more in remembrance.

T`hiyliym: 83:5: For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you:

T`hiyliym: 83:6: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Yishmaeliym; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

T`hiyliym: 83:7: Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Pelesheth/Philistines with the inhabitants of Zor/Tyre;

Psalms: 83:8: Ashshur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot.  Selah

Are these the ten horns that are mounted on the Beast government’s head that have not received their kingdom as yet? Where are these kingdoms located today?

1. Edom is located South of Yahvshalam. Bozrah an ancient city of Edom is a little over 75 miles slightly southeast of Yahvshalam if traveled in a straight line.

Text:

(1.) The name of Esau (q.v.), B`reshiyth/Gen. 25:30, "Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage [Iybriy/Heb. haadom, haadom, i.e., 'the red pottage, the red pottage'] ......Therefore was his name called Edom", i.e., Red.

(2.) Idumea (Yashayah/Isa. 34:5, 6; Yechizkiy`Yah/Ezek. 35:15). "The field of Edom" (B`reshiyth 32:3), "the land of Edom" (B`reshiyth 36:16), was mountainous (Obad`Yah 8, 9, 19, 21). It was called the land, or "the mountain of Seir," the rough hills on the east side of the Arabah. It extended from the head of the Gulf of Akabah, the Elanitic gulf, to the foot of the Dead Sea (1 Melekiym/Kings 9:26), and contained, among other cities, the rock-hewn Sela (q.v.), generally known by the Greek name Petra (2 Melekiym 14:7).

Page 3

It is a wild and rugged region, traversed by fruitful valleys. Its old capital was Bozrah (Yashayah 63:1). The early inhabitants of the land were Chorites/Choriym. They were destroyed by the Edomites/Edomiym (Dabariym/Deut. 2:12), between whom and the melekiym/kings of Yisrael and Yahudah there was frequent war (2 Melekiym 8:20; 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym/Chr. 28:17). At the time of the Exodus they churlishly refused permission to the Yisraeliym to pass through their land (B`midbar/Num. 20:14-21), and ever afterwards maintained an attitude of hostility toward them. They were conquered by David (2 Shemuel/Sam. 8:14; comp. 1 Melekiym 9:26), and afterwards by Amaz`Yah/Amaziah (2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 25:11, 12). But they regained again their independence, and in later years, during the decline of the Yahudiy/Jewish kingdom (2 Melekiym 16:6; R.V. marg., "Edomites"), made war against Yisrael. They took part with the Kasdiy/Chaldeans when Nebuchadnezzar captured Yahvshalam, and afterwards they invaded and held possession of the south of Pelesheth as far as Hebron.

At length, however, Edom fell under the growing Kasdiymah/Chaldean power (Yirmi`Yah/Jer. 27:3, 6). There are many nebuah/foretellings concerning Edom (Yashayah/Isa. 34:5, 6; Yirmiyah 49:7-18; Yechizkiyah/Ezek. 25:13; 35:1-15; Yahv`el/Ya`el/Joel 3:19; Amos 1:11; Obadyah; Mal-a-kiy 1:3, 4) which have been remarkably fulfilled.

The present desolate condition of that land is a standing testimony to the motivation of these foretellings. After an existence as a people for above seventeen hundred years, they have utterly disappeared, and their language even is forgotten for ever. In Petra, "where kings kept their court, and where nobles assembled, there no man dwells; it is given by lot to birds, and beasts, and reptiles."

The Edomiym/Edomites were Semites/Shemiym, closely related in blood and in language to the Yisraeliym. They dispossessed the Choriym/Horites of Mount Seir/Se-iyr; though it is clear, from B`reshiyth 36, that they afterwards intermarried with the conquered population. Edomiy tribes settled also in the south of Yahudah, like the Ken-iz-ziy/Kenizzites (B`reshiyth 36:11), to whom Kaleb and Oth-niy`el belonged (Yahshua/Josh. 15:17). The southern part of Edom was known as Teyman.

2. Yishmaeliym (Arab people) people

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Yish'mael

Text:  EL hears.

(1.) Abraham's eldest ben, by Hagar the concubine (B`reshiyth 16:15; 17:23). He was born at Mamre, when Abraham was eighty-six years of age, eleven years after his arrival in Ken-a`an/Canaan (B`reshiyth 16:3; 21:5). At the age of thirteen he was circumcised (17:25). He grew up a true child of the desert, wild and wayward. On the occasion of the weaning of Yitschak/Isaac his rude and wayward spirit broke out in expressions of insult and mockery (21: 9, 10); and Sarah, discovering this, said to Abraham, "Expel this slave and her ben."

Influenced by a divine admonition, Abraham dismissed Hagar and her ben with no more than a skin of water and some bread. The narrative describing this act is one of the most beautiful and touching incidents of father/ab-archal/ life (B`reshiyth 21:14-16). (See HAGAR.)

Yishmael settled in the land of Paran, a region lying between Kena`an and the mountains of Sinai; and "Elohiym was with him, and he became a great archer" (B`reshiyth 21: 9-21). He became a great desert chief, but of his history little is recorded.

He was about *ninety years of age when his father Abraham died, in connection with whose burial he once more for a moment reappears. On this occasion the two brothers met after being long separated. "Yitschak with his hundreds of household slaves, Yishmael with his troops of wild retainers and half-savage allies, in all the state of a Bedouin prince, gathered before the cave of Machpelah, in the midst of the men of Cheth, to pay the last duties to the 'father of the believing,' would make a notable subject for an artist" (B`reshiyth 25:9).

Of the after events of his life but little is known. He died at the age of one hundred and thirty-seven years, but where and when are unknown (25:17). He had twelve benniym, who became the founders of so many Arab tribes or colonies, the Yishmaeliym, who spread over the wide desert spaces of Northern Arabia from the Red Sea to the Euphrates (B`reshiyth 37:25, 27, 28; 39:1), "their hand against every man, and every man's hand against them."

*Comment:

On my Extrapolated Time Line I have calculated Yishmael to be 89 years old when Abraham died. Yishmael was born to Abraham around 2634 FCA and Abraham died in 2723 FCA. The extrapolated time line I have started is an on going project and does change as I investigate history and grow in the favor and understanding of my Rabbi Yahshua ha`Mashiyach. 3. Moab is located east of the Salt Sea and the ancient city of Kir-hareseth in Moab is located a little over 50 miles South-East of Yahvshalam if traveled in a straight line.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Mo'ab

Text:  the seed of the father, or, according to others, the desirable land, the eldest ben of Lot (B`reshiyth 19:37), of incestuous birth.

(2.) Used to denote the people of Moab (B`midbar/Num. 22:3-14; Shophetiym/Judg. 3:30; 2 Shemuel 8:2; Yirmiyah 48:11, 13).

(3.) The land of Moab (Yirmiyah 48:24), called also the "country of Moab" (Ruth 1:2, 6; 2:6), on the east of Yarden/Jordan and the Dead Sea, and south of the Arnon (B`midbar 21:13, 26). In a wider sense it included the whole region that had been occupied by the Emoriym/Amorites. It bears the modern name of Kerak. In the Plains of Moab, opposite Yericho (B`midbar 22:1; 26:63; Yahshua 13:32), the children of Yisrael had their last encampment before they entered the land of Kena`an. It was at that time in the possession of the Emoriym (B`midbar 21:22).

"Mosheh/Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah," and "died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of YaHVeH" (Dabariym/Deut. 34:5, 6). "Surely if we had nothing else to interest us in the land of Moab, the fact that it was from the top of Pisgah, its noblest height, this mightiest of the nebiym/foretellers looked out with eye undimmed upon the Promised Land; that it was here on Nebo, its loftiest mountain, that he died his solitary death; that it was here, in the valley over against Beyth-peor, he found his mysterious sepulchre, we have enough to enshrine the memory in our hearts."

4. Hagarenes a people east of the Jordan/Yarden of Moab.

From Strong’s Iybriy/Hebrew Concordance:

Strong's Number: 1905

Transliterated: Hagriy

Phonetic: hag-ree'

Text:  or (prolonged) Hagris {hag-ree'}; perhaps patronymically from 1904; a Hagrite or member of a certain Arabian clan: - Hagarene, Hagarite, Haggeri

Strong's Number: 1904

Transliterated: Hagar

Phonetic: haw-gawr'

Text:  of uncertain (perhaps foreign) derivation; Hagar, the mother of Yishmael: -Hagar..

5. Gebal is on the Coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It is about 65 miles in a straight line slightly to the North-East of Zor/Tyre. It is 170 miles North-West of Yahvshalam if traveled in a straight line.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Ge'bal

Text:  a line (or creation boundary, as a mountain range).

(1.) A tract in the land of Edom south of the Dead Sea (T`hiyliym 83:7); now called Djebal.

(2.) A Phoenician city, not far from the sea coast, to the north of Beyrout (Yechizkiyah 27:9); called by the Greeks #Byblos. Now Jibeil. Mentioned in the Amarna tablets. An important Phoenician text, referring to the temple of Baalath, on a monument of Yehu-melek, its king (probably BCE 600/4392 FCA), has been discovered.

#Comment:

It is from the idolatrous name Byblos Christians derive the word for "Bible". Idolatrous origins of the word "Bible" (Shemoth 23:13)

6. Ammon is to the East of the Salt Sea. Rabbah an ancient city of Ammon is about 45 miles North-East of Yahvshalam if traveled in a straight line.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Am'mon

Text:  another form of the name Ben-ammi, the ben of Lot (B`reshiyth 19:38). This name is also used for his posterity (T`hiyliym 83:7).

7. Amalek is to the West of Edom. Kadesh-Barnea an ancient city of Amalek is about 95 miles if traveled in a straight line South-west of Yahvshalam.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Am'alek

Text:  dweller in a valley, the ben of Eliyphaz and grandben of Esau (B`reshiyth 36:12; 1 Dibrey ha`Yamiym/Chr. 1:36); the chief of an Edomiy/Idumean tribe (B`reshiyth 36:16). His mother was a Choriy, a tribe whose territory the descendants of Esau had seized.

Page 7

8. Pelishtiym/Philistines territory is located west of Yahvshalam on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, starting from the North the Kishon River going down South of the coast of the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Gaza.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary:

Topics: Philis'tines/Pelesheth/Pelishtiy

Text:  (B`reshiyth 10:14, R.V.; but in A.V., "Philistim"), a tribe allied to the Phoenicians. They were a branch of the primitive race which spread over the whole district of the Lebanon and the valley of the Yarden, and Crete and other Mediterranean islands. Some suppose them to have been a branch of the Rephaiym (2 Shemuel 21:16-22).

In the time of Abraham they inhabited the south-west of Yahudea, Abiymelech of Gerar being their king (B`reshiyth 21:32, 34; 26:1). They are, however, not noticed among the Kena`an tribes mentioned in the Pentateuch. They are spoken of by Amos (9:7) and Yirmiyah (47:4) as from Caphtor, i.e., probably Crete, or, as some think, the Delta of Mitsrayim/Egypt. In the whole record from Shemoth/Exodus to Shemuel they are represented as inhabiting the tract of country which lay between Yahudea and Mitsrayim (Shemoth 13:17; 15:14, 15; Yahshua 13:3; 1 Shemuel 4).

This powerful tribe made frequent incursions against the Iybriyiym/Hebrews. There was almost perpetual war between them. They sometimes held the tribes, especially the southern tribes, in degrading servitude (Shophetiym/Judg. 15:11; 1 Shemuel 13:19-22); at other times they were defeated with great slaughter (1 Shemuel 14:1-47; 17). These hostilities did not cease till the time of Yech-iz-ki-yah/Hezekiah (2 Melekiym/Kings 18:8), when they were entirely subdued. They still, however, occupied their territory, and always showed their old hatred to Yisrael (Yechizkiyah/Ezek. 25:15-17).

They were finally conquered by the Romans. The Pelishtiym/Philistines are called Pulsata or Pulista on the Egyptian monuments; the land of the Philistines (Philistia) being termed Palastu and Pilista in the Ashshur/Assyrian inscriptions. They occupied the five cities of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron, and Gath, in the south-western corner of Kena`an, which belonged to Egypt up to the closing days of the Nineteenth Dynasty. The occupation took place during the reign of Rameses III. of the Twentieth Dynasty. The Philistines had formed part of the great naval confederacy which attacked Egypt, but were eventually repulsed by that Pharaoh, who, however, could not dislodge them from their settlements in Palestine.

As they did not enter Palestine till the time of the Exodus, the use of the name Philistines in B`reshiyth 26:1 must be proleptic. Indeed the country was properly Gerar, as in ch. 20. They are called Allophyli, "foreigners," in the Septuagint, and in the Books of Shemuel they are spoken of as uncircumcised. It would therefore appear that they were not of the Shemiy/Semitic race, though after their establishment in Kena`an they adopted the Shemiy/Semitic language of the country. We learn from the Old Testament that they came from Caphtor, usually supposed to be Crete. From Philistia the name of the land of the Philistines came to be extended to the whole of "Palestine." Many scholars identify the Philistines with the Pelethites/Peleshethiym of 2 Shemuel 8:18.

Page 8

9. Zor/Tyre is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea 100 miles North-west of Yahvshalam if traveled in a straight line.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Tyre/Zor

Text:  a rock, now es-Sur; an ancient Phoenician city, about 23 miles, in a direct line, north of Acre, and 20 south of Ziydon/Sidon. Ziydon was the oldest Phoenician city, but Tyre had a longer and more illustrious history. The commerce of the whole world was gathered into the warehouses of Zor/Tyre.

"Tyrian merchants were the first who ventured to navigate the Mediterranean waters; and they founded their colonies on the coasts and neighboring islands of the AEgean Sea, in Greece, on the northern coast of Africa, at Carthage and other places, in Sicily and Corsica, in Spain at Tartessus, and even beyond the pillars of Hercules at Gadeira (Cadiz)" (Driver's Isaiah).

In the time of David a friendly alliance was entered into between the Iybriyiym/Hebrews and the Tyrians, who were long ruled over by their native kings (2 Shemuel 5:11; 1 Melekiym 5:1; 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 2:3). Tyre consisted of two distinct parts, a rocky fortress on the mainland, called "Old Tyre," and the city, built on a small, rocky island about half-a-mile distant from the shore.

It was a place of great strength. It was besieged by Shal-man-e-ser, who was assisted by the Phoenicians of the mainland, for five years, and by Nebuchadnezzar (BCE 586-573/4403-4416 FCA) for thirteen years, apparently without success. It afterwards fell under the power of Alexander the Greek king, after a siege of seven months, but continued to maintain much of its commercial importance till the Messianic era. It is referred to in Mattith`Yah/Mat. 11:21 and Acts 12:20. In CE 1291/6353 FCA it was taken by the Saracens, and has remained a desolate ruin ever since.

"The purple dye of Tyre had a worldwide celebrity on account of the durability of its beautiful tints, and its manufacture proved a source of abundant wealth to the inhabitants of that city." Both Tyre and Ziydon "were crowded with glass-shops, dyeing and weaving establishments; and among their cunning workmen not the least important class were those who were celebrated for the engraving of precious stones." (2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 2:7,14).

The wickedness and idolatry of this city are frequently denounced by the nebiyiym/foretellers, and its final destruction predicted (Yashayah/Isa. 23:1; Yirmiyah/Jer. 25:22; Yechizkiyah/Ezek. 26; 28:1-19; Amos 1:9, 10; Zecharyah 9:2-4).

Here an assembly of Messianic`s was founded soon after the death of Stephen, and Shaul, on his return from his third journey spent a week in intercourse with the limmudiym/followers there (Acts 21:4). Here the scene at Miletus was repeated on his leaving them. They all, with their wives and children, accompanied him to the sea-shore. The sea-voyage of the emissary terminated at Ptolemais, about 38 miles from Zor/Tyre. Thence he proceeded to Caesarea (Acts 21:5-8).

Page 9

"It is noticed on monuments as early as BCE 1500/3493 FCA, and claiming, according to Herodotus, to have been founded about BCE 2700/2293 FCA. It had two ports still existing, and was of commercial importance in all ages, with colonies at Carthage (about BCE 850/4139 FCA) and all over the Mediterranean. It was often attacked by Mitsrayim/Egypt and Ashshur/Assyria, and taken by Alexander the Greek king after a terrible siege in BCE 332/4728 FCA.

It is now a town of 3,000 inhabitants, with ancient tombs and a ruined cathedral. A short Phoenician text of the fourth century BCE is the only monument yet recovered."

10. Ashshur. Ashshur is located in the country we know today as Iraq.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary:

Topics: Ash'shur

Text:  second ben of Shem (B`reshiyth 10:22; 1 Dibrey ha`Yamiym/Chronicles 1:17). He went from the land of Shinar and built Niy-nev-eh, etc. (B`reshiyth 10:11,12). He probably gave his name to Assyria, which is the usual translation of the word, although the form Ashshur is sometimes retained (B`midbar 24:22, 24; Yechizkiyah 27:23, etc.). In B`reshiyth 2:14 "Assyria" ought to be "Ashshur," which was the original capital of Assyria, a city represented by the mounds of Kalah Sherghat, on the west bank of the Tigris. This city was founded by Bel-kap-kapu about BCE 1700/3289 FCA. At a later date the capital was shifted to Ninua, or Nineveh, now Koyunjik, on the eastern bank of the river. (See CALAH; NINEVEH.)

Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 13:1: And I stood on the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads the name of blasphemy.

Revelation: 17:3: So he carried me away in the ruach into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit on a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Revelation: 17:12: And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

I have been looking at the Beast government all-wrong. I was thinking the ten kings would be coming out of Europe but I don’t believe that is correct.  I believed that because I was taught that by men. Until I ask YaHVeH by HIS Right Hand (Yahshua the Mashiyach) to teach me through HIS Kodesh Ruach (1 Yahn/Yohn 2:27), did I begin to understand differently. I believe the ten kings will unite with the European Union to fight against the “House of Yisrael” and the “House of Yudah” (Yechizkiyah/Ezek. 4). The European Union is the head of the beast that the ten horns are mounted on. The ten kings will be coming out of the Middle East.

Page 10

None of the tribes of Yisrael of the “House of Yisrael” can be part of the European Union, so something has to happen between now or might be right when the “son of perdition” takes away the sacrifices (Daniel 12:11) the structure of the European Union will change. I have said in the pass that World War II was a marker of who the tribes of Yisrael are. Those allies that fought on the side of the UK and USA and were taken over by the Axis powers in North Western Europe are more than likely of the tribes of Yisrael. If you look at the membership of NATO there are 26 member nations. Eight I believe to be of the “House of Yisrael” the USA and UK being the shepherd tribes (B`reshiyth 48, 49:22-26) and the other eighteen are considered gentile nations (Australia and New Zealand are part of the “House of Yisrael”). This understanding of which nations are of the House of Yisrael are not written in stone, it is my best extrapolation of the information and understanding I have. But I do believe without a doubt that the shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael are the UK and USA due to the material abundance of the earth they have received in these "last days", that is the scriptural proof:

NATO MEMBERS

Believed to be of the “House of Israel”

Canada

Denmark

Iceland

Netherlands

Norway

United Kingdom

United States

Hungary

Italy

Latvia

Lithuania

Poland, some have said that this nation is a member of the House of Yisrael?

I believe the ten kings will be heads of theses nations:

1. Iraq

2. Iran

3. Syria

4. Saudi Arabia

5. Jordan/Yarden

6. Lebanon

7. The Palestinian State that the UN now recognizes as a sovereign state.

8. Egypt

9. Libya

10. Ethiopia

This understanding could change as time draws closer, and more information is understood, to return of Yahshua ha`Mashiyach.
